Redesign of Bureau Vallée's internal tool.
2022
As the UX/UI designer for the redesign of Bureau Vallée’s internal tool, my role was to improve the user experience and modernize the interface design. The primary goal of this redesign was to make the tool more fluid and intuitive for end users, whether they were in-store or in the back office.
I started by conducting an in-depth analysis of user needs and frustrations with the existing tool. I conducted interviews with users to better understand their expectations, the key features they valued most, and the recurring issues they faced while using the tool. These insights served as the foundation for my design process.
Based on the feedback collected, I created the initial wireframes to validate the user experience. These early prototypes were regularly tested with users to refine interactions and ensure that each feature aligned with their needs. This iterative process helped me design optimized user flows focused on efficiency and ease of use.
Next, I created high-fidelity mockups, prioritizing the most critical modules for users, such as the "Pick & Collect" and Customer Service (SAV) modules. These mockups were designed with a focus on modernizing the interface while maintaining visual consistency with Bureau Vallée's brand identity. I also optimized the visual elements to make the tool more attractive and enjoyable for everyday use.
One of the key challenges of this project was designing a mobile version tailored to the needs of store employees, enabling them to use a phone to scan product barcodes. This mobile version was designed to be simple, intuitive, and seamlessly integrated into the workflow of users on the go.
The redesign of Bureau Vallée’s internal tool significantly improved interface fluidity and enhanced the operational efficiency of its users. The modernized design and user-centered approach resulted in a more pleasant and functional experience, both on desktop and mobile versions.
