UX & UI Design
Redesign of Smartkeyword's SEO optimization tool for clients.
2023
As the UX/UI designer for the redesign of Smartkeyword’s SEO optimization tool, my mission was to enhance the user experience by improving navigation, streamlining workflows, and modernizing the interface. The goal was to create a more intuitive and efficient tool, enabling users to optimize their SEO strategies with greater ease and clarity.
I started by analyzing the existing platform to identify friction points in the user journey. Through user interviews and behavioral data, I pinpointed key frustrations such as complex workflows, lack of visual hierarchy, and difficulty accessing relevant insights. This research guided my approach to simplifying interactions and improving the overall usability of the tool.
A major focus of the redesign was creating a clean, structured, and data-driven interface. I reworked key screens to enhance readability, prioritized essential features, and introduced clearer visual cues for better decision-making. Accessibility and responsiveness were also improved to ensure a seamless experience across devices.
Beyond aesthetics, the redesign aimed to make Smartkeyword’s tool a more actionable resource for users. By refining information architecture and integrating new interactive components, I helped transform the tool into a more intuitive and powerful assistant for SEO professionals, boosting engagement and productivity.
As the graphic designer for Smartkeyword’s newsletter, my role was to craft a visually engaging and cohesive layout that effectively conveyed key insights to users. From typography to color harmony, every element was carefully designed to enhance readability and reinforce brand identity.
A major challenge was turning complex SEO data into digestible, compelling visuals. I designed intuitive infographics and data visualizations to highlight trends and key metrics, ensuring users could quickly grasp valuable insights.
